Objective
For this project our group, Mayleen, Panpan, Femke, and I need to create a video about the LGBTQ movement. Each of us were responsible for speaking portions of the context regarding the specific aspect of the movement that we have chosen. The second part of the assignment of the summative assessment will be individual work determined by the aspect I chose to focus on. Everyone will find a piece to read and annotate, then create a writing of our own that is a response or inspired by the reading chosen. The reading we chose could influence the writing we do. This section is meant to be creative. Reflection After I have chosen the aspect, I started to find reliable sources to annotate by using the reliable sources cheat sheet to check the reliability. Then, I started to annotate the source. I put my thoughts and ideas on the text I am reading. In some parts I don’t have a thought to it(but I think this information would be helpful in my writing ), so I just highlighted to make sure that I come back and read this part again. The problem that I faced during this project was that I am not good at writing poems. The most challenging thing about poetry is the way so much can be expressed in so few words. From doing research on this movement make me learned that if we are going to achieve meaningful change, it’s important to listen to the views of the opponents.
