Since we have been learning about cross-section; this project was assigned as a group to make volume model. We need to create a physical model of a solid with a known cross section using a standard feature as the foundation. We'll figure out how much our model will be in actual volume and the theoretical volume. For our group project (May, Albert, Pete, Pinpin), we created a tree as a base using the elipse and straight lines equations and taking integration respect to Y-axis.
ESLOs Strategic Learners : I recognize what is important to know and understand. Besides, my group and I plan how to learn without wasting time. We separated the work clearly, so everyone have there own job to do. For example, my job is to do some actual calculations and some do the theoretical calculations. I use technology in an effective way to do research and to work. Innovative Thinkers : I can apply what I know to about learning cross-section in class to analyze, evaluate, and solve problems while doing the project. To create this products I need to be creative and original, also using the technology to create high quality products.
